Pyromol test is based on a dye test that is also used in clinical chemistry as a method for measuring proteins. Contamination on instruments and surfaces contains large amounts of proteins, which can be detected even in small quantities.
For routine testing and validation of cleaning performance in accordance with EN ISO 15883.
-
eeasy to use test kit
-
sfast detection of insoluble protein residues
-
Blue coloration means contamination of the tested instrument
-
Detection from 1 μg protein
- kmisinterpretation by glutaraldehyde or peracetic acid
Pyromol test is used when the HemoCheck-S cannot be used, for example with a protein source other than blood. A blue discoloration on the test brush indicates protein residues on the tested surface. A large amount of protein can discolor the entire test.
