^Stericlin® sheet packaging made of polypropylene (SMS) is an extremely tear-resistant, durable nonwoven made of pure plastic fibers with excellent drapability that is suitable for all types of sheet packaging. The higher the grammage of the nonwoven, the more resistant the soft packaging made from it. All ^stericlin®sheet packaging made of polypropylene (SMS) meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 11607 and DIN EN 868-2.
The polypropylene nonwovens consist of several layers of spunbond fibers (S) and meltblown fibers (M). Spunbond layers ensure exceptional flexibility and drapability, while meltblown layers form an effective germ barrier.
