^Stericlin® interleaved sheet packs meet the requirements of DIN EN ISO 11607 and DIN EN 868-2 and combine two different materials: a sheet of blue polypropylene nonwoven (SMS) made of plastic fibers and a sheet of green nonwoven made of cellulose and plastic fibers, which are laid alternately in the stack. The respective advantages of the materials are used perfectly.
The extreme stability of the blue SMS material is combined with the properties of the mixed fibres of the green nonwoven, which supports the complete drying of residual moisture after sterilization. Furthermore, the different colors of the inner (green) and outer (blue) sheets make it easier to detect damage to the packaging.
