^Stericlin® sheet packaging made of polypropylene (SMS) is an extremely tear-resistant, durable nonwoven made of pure plastic fibers with excellent drapability that is suitable for all types of sheet packaging.
They can be used for steam and low-temperature sterilization. According to ^STERRAD® information from the manufacturer Johnson & Johnson, the quality of interleaved SMS/SMS sheet packaging has also been validated for ^STERRAD® Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) systems.
In the ^stericlin® interleaved SMS/SMS sheet packaging, a blue sheet and a green sheet made of polypropylene nonwoven are already placed alternately in the stack at the factory. This eliminates the need to assemble sheets from two different cartons. This significantly simplifies the preparation of the packing processes for double packaging. The different colors of the inner and outer packaging also make it easier to detect damage to the packaging.
