Stericlin® sheet packaging made of polypropylene (SMS) is an extremely tear-resistant, durable, and highly drapable nonwoven fabric made of pure plastic fibers, which is suitable for all types of sheet packaging. The higher the grammage of the nonwoven fabric, the more durable the soft packaging made from it. Allstericlin® sheet packagingmade of polypropylene (SMS) complies with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 11607 and DIN EN 868-2.
The polypropylene nonwovens consist of several layers of spunbond fibers (S) and meltblown fibers (M). Spunbond layers provide exceptional flexibility and drapability, while meltblown layers form an effective germ barrier.
