^Stericlin®interleaved sheet packaging complies with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 11607 and DIN EN 868-2 and combines two different materials: a sheet of blue polypropylene nonwoven fabric (SMS) made of plastic fibers and a sheet of green nonwoven fabric made of cellulose and plastic fibers, which are laid alternately in the stack. The respective advantages of the materials are perfectly utilized.
The extreme stability of SMS blue SMS is combined with the properties of the mixed fibers of the green fleece, which supports the complete drying of residual moisture after sterilization. Furthermore, damage to the packaging is easier to detect due to the different colors of the inner (green) and outer (blue) sheets.
